So if your typical lunchtime fare is less-than-inspiring, take some cues from these bento boxes.Bento boxes refer to single-portion meals, originally from Japan, that traditionally contain rice, meat, and vegetables in a boxed container. But the dish has become an art form, inspiring intricately designed dishes featuring everything from cartoon characters to adorable animal scenes.
